With the convergence of the COVID19 Pandemic, the looming world economic recession, the frightening environmental crisis and the rise of extreme racist bigotry, the year 2020 has been drastically shaping our lives. People are questioning the Media and our mainstream educational institutions like never before. Youth are asking: “What is the real truth?” “Do Black lives matter?” “What is Racism and how does it affect us today?” “What is the true history of Africa?” They ask: “Are Muslims racist and is there Racism in Islam?” “Did Black African people contribute anything in Islamic history?”

COURSE TITLE: The Black Muslim Experience: From Makkah to the Americas
FORMAT: Online course
STARTING DATE: Saturday 10th October 1.30pm to 3.00pm and will continue for 4 consecutive weeks.
